Missouri State University (MSU) is a public university situated in Springfield, Missouri and was established as the Fourth District Normal School in 1905. In student enrollment, it is the second largest university in the state which has many unique features that appeal to the students worldwide.
The main campus of University contains more than 40 buildings and is spread over 225 acres in central Springfield. The primary purpose of university was to prepare teachers for the public school system in the southwest region of Missouri. Missouri State University can open many doors to students during their tenure at MSU as well as professional lives afterward. Missouri State University has six different academic colleges: College of Education, College of Arts and Letters, College of Health and Human Services, College of Business Administration, College of Natural and Applied Sciences and College of Humanities and Public Affairs.
